"Bud, a sales agronomist for a big seed company, is looking for his son. He checks into a small-town Iowa motel searching for answers to the boy’s disappearance and meets Holler, a teenage hustler reeling from the recent suicide of his boyfriend. Bud suspects Holler knows what happened to his son and Holler thinks Bud is his ticket out of town. A tenuous paternal bond forms and, as the spectre of his lost son circles the motel, Bud leads Holler on a terrifying course of mutation to overcome the dangers that nature has set before him."

"A wrenching, unsettling piece that keeps you on your toes! What begins as a gritty, sharply written, and at times poignant examination of two characters with an inescapable tether to one another slowly and surely acquires horror and sci-fi elements that organically emerge and progress to a startling climax."-Nick Malakhow
